Ross E. Stromberg Chair |
Graduate of Humboldt State University and the Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley. Member of the State Bar of California, the Bar Association of San Francisco, the American Health Lawyers Association (past president), and the California Society for Healthcare Attorneys (founding director). Currently a partner in the San Francisco office of the international law firm Jones Day and has practiced health and hospital law since 1965. Current chair of the board of PDI and of Sutter Medical Center in Santa Rosa. Founding member of the PDI Board. |
Bill Hawn Vice Chair |
Mr. Hawn has served as President, Vice-President, and Administrator at a number of healthcare facilities over the years in Southern and Northern California, as well as abroad. Mr. Hawn’s affiliations include America College of Hospital Executives, Life Fellow; Healthcare Executives of Northern California, past President; Cordelia Rotary Club, past President; Leader/chair, Slow Food Sonoma County convivium. Education: Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medical Sciences, and Masters of Science in Public Administration/Health Service Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia. |
Max Dunn Secretary/Treasurer

Retired director of Alliance Medical Center in Healdsburg, CA. Mr. Dunn has been instrumental in providing primary health care and preventive health services to under privileged families in Sonoma County for many years. Founding member of the PDI Board. |
Katherine Foster, MD Board Member

Pediatrician at Kaiser of Santa Rosa, where she has worked since 1982. Joined the Sonoma County Children and Families Commission to help advocate for children in the County. Dr. Foster is also a First 5 Sonoma County Commissioner. Founding member of the PDI Board. |
Tom Jordan Board Member

Currently serves as Executive Director for the First 5 Commission of Lake County. Education: Masters in Public and International Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and undergraduate degree from St. Mary's College in Moraga, California. Has served over the years as an Executive Director and CEO throughout the greater Bay Area. Began his career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa. Also sits on several other Boards throughout the area. |
Anne Molgaard, Esq Board Member

Currently the Executive Director for First 5 Mendocino. Anne was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras before becoming an Attorney, and is currently the Co-Chair of the PTA for the Dual Immersion Program of the Ukiah Unified School District, and is also the Board Chair for West Company Organization. |

In charge of acquisitions and development for Regent Surgical Health, an owner and manager of ambulatory surgery centers in the West and Midwest. Mr. Simmons has been instrumental in the real estate negotiations and Surgery Center planning of PDI. Mr. Simmons is a resident of Santa Rosa |
Thomas Cleland, DDS Board Member

Graduate of University of Southern California (USC) and the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Dr. Cleland provided services for many years to underprivileged families in Sonoma County while in private practice in Upland. Dr. Cleland was active with the tri-County Dental Society in San Bernadino, Riverside and Los Angeles, where he also served as a regional consultant for Medi-Cal. Dr. Cleland currently provides services at the Alliance Community-Medical Center in Healdsburg. Joined the PDI Board in July 2006. |
Suzie Shupe Board Member |
BA from Barnard College and JD from UCLA School of Law. Practiced general litigation with Brobeck, Phleger and Harrison and worked as staff attorney for United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit prior to becoming Director of the non-profit organization, Family Action of Sonoma County, for nearly ten years. Currently Ms. Shupe is a private consultant and an active advocate for children's health issues. Founding member of the PDI Board. |

| Marta Fuller | Graduated from Eastern Maine Medical Center School of Nursing; orthodontic and general dental assistant, Queensland, Australia, and Buxton, Maine. CCS orthodontic assistant - Lake County, California. Wrote and received the original CDDPP grant in 1980. Currently working as coordinator/educator for that program which expanded to include 2 Rural Oral Health grants, First 5 Oral health grants and Bike Helmet Safety grants. Currently serves on the Maternal, Child and Adolescent Heath Advisory Board, the Early Head Start Health Advisory Board and the Mendo/Lake NCO Head Start Advisory Board.
